Improving teaching, learning, and childcare Florida’s FREE statewide program to advance literacy and foster a love of reading for eligible VPK-5th grade children
Eligible students and families receive:
- A new book and reading activities in the mail October – June to build a personalized home library
- Books approved by the Florida Department of Education in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole or braille
- Literacy resources for families to use
Eligibility Criteria*
- VPK students who are not making age-appropriate progress
- K-5 students in public and charter schools who are not yet reading on grade level
